CineMaterna Gives New Moms a Break

The group CineMaterna was born in 2008 when a cinephile mom gathered a group of other new mothers with their babies and “invaded” a theater. Shortly thereafter, the movie theaters realized the value in providing new mothers a place to relax and watch a movie with their babies in tow. Find out more about CineMaterna.

Three theaters in Brasilia offer baby-friendly movie sessions, Iguatemi, Pier 21, and Itau Casa Park.

The next film will be Men in Black 3 (2D) on Tuesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. at Cinemark Iguatemi. View all upcoming CineMaterna showtimes in Brasilia.
